Description

The ICT Security Governance, Risk, Compliance & Strategy & Continuity role focuses on ensuring the organization's IT systems are secure, compliant with regulations, and prepared for potential risks or disruptions. The successful candidate will develop and implement governance frameworks and risk management policies, as well as conduct regular risk assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities. The role requires an individual with a strong understanding of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and risk management who can work closely with various teams to implement security controls and ensure the organization remains compliant with industry standards. Additionally, the role will involve maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure smooth operations in the face of any unforeseen incidents. The candidate must be able to communicate risks and strategies to stakeholders and provide training and guidance on security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor security governance frameworks and risk management policies to ensure organizational compliance
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies
• Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure that the organization adheres to industry standards
• Create and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to safeguard operations in case of emergencies
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and incident response protocols
• Provide training and guidance to employees on security best practices and compliance requirements
• Oversee the continuous improvement of security policies and procedures based on emerging threats and changes in the industry
• Ensure that security audits are conducted regularly and corrective actions are implemented effectively

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc)
• Familiarity with security governance practices, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Experience with risk assessment and management techniques
• Knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies
• Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM, or CEH) are advantageous
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate security risks and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
